Measuring Guide

A guide to measuring up before ordering.

All of our products are handmade from natural materials.
Please allow a plus or minus 3cm variation and if unsure just get in touch to discuss any queries with us - we'd be more than happy to help and check any measurements for you.

The best way to contact us is by email to sales@wovenhill.co.uk and let us know which item(s) you're interested in and what measurements you'd like us to double check for you.

A little like paint or wallpaper, colours can also vary by batch. If you're buying a new piece to match up to a basket you already own, please bear in mind that the colour and size may not be an exact match for the item you already own.

The standard unit of measurement across our site is centimetres (cm). If you wish to convert to inches, use the rough guide as follows: 1cm = 0.39"

Unless stated in the product descriptions, the measurements shown are the OVERALL dimensions, including lids and handles.

Some items also show internal dimensions and handles separately.
Again, if you'd like anything clarifying, just pop us an email. Internal measurements state the height, width and depth from the inside edge of each side to the opposite inside edge. The above notice to allow some variation in our measurements applies to both internal and external dimensions.

What to do if you order the incorrect size?

We understand that things don't always go to plan, however please be aware hat a collection charge will apply if you decide to return your order due to the item not fitting or being too big/small for the space. Consider doorway width for delivery

Most of our products will easily fit through a standard doorway however please make allowances to transport the items through to their intended position, taking into account doorways, gates, radiators, hallways etc. Our extra large items may not fit through very narrow entrances or alleyways for example. We offer doorstep delivery only, our delivery partners cannot be responsible for delivering to the room of your choice.
