Single, Double and Family-Pet Feeding Stations
The range covers single-bowl stations for cats and small dogs, double-bowl stations sized for medium and large dogs, and larger family-pet stations with separate compartments for food, water and treats. The bowls themselves are stainless steel (more hygienic than plastic, more durable than ceramic), removable for washing, and dishwasher safe. The wicker base sits steadily on hard floors without sliding, and the elevated bowl height makes eating more comfortable for older or larger dogs.
Why a Raised Feeding Station Is Better for Your Pet
The elevated design is gentler on a dog's neck and joints than eating from a bowl on the floor, particularly important for older dogs and breeds prone to bloat. The contained design catches the inevitable spilled water and dropped kibble, keeping the surrounding floor cleaner. The stainless steel bowls don't hold odours or harbour bacteria the way plastic does. And the wicker base looks far more at home in a kitchen than a typical plastic feeder.
How to Size a Pet Feeding Station Correctly
The bowl height matters more than the overall footprint. As a rough guide, a dog should be able to eat without dipping its head below shoulder height. Small dogs and cats typically need bowls 5 to 10cm off the floor, medium dogs 15 to 20cm, large dogs 25cm or more. Most of our stations are sized for the typical dog or cat, with double-bowl stations widely usable across most household pets.
How to Clean and Care for a Wicker Feeding Station
Wash the stainless steel bowls regularly (dishwasher safe), wipe down the wicker base weekly with a damp cloth, and brush out any accumulated hair or spilled food monthly. Avoid leaving the wicker in standing water if a bowl gets knocked over, since prolonged dampness will weaken the weave.
For households with multiple pets, separate feeding stations placed in different rooms tend to reduce competition and squabbling at mealtimes, particularly between dogs and cats.
